Bees Wax, commercially useful animal wax secreted by the worker bee to make the cell walls of the honeycomb. Bees Wax ranges from yellow to almost black in color, depending on such factors as the age and diet of the bees, and it has a somewhat honey like odor and a faint balsamic taste. We have Bees Wax, which is soft to brittle, with a specific gravity of about 0.95 and a melting point of more than 60°C. Although insoluble in water, it can be dissolved in such substances as Carbon Tech-Chloride, Chloroform, or Hot Ether. Wax obtained from bees is somewhat different from one part of region’s honeybee.
